Rare Oak Tropical
Leaf Tree

     Looking for a tropical look? Check out the leaf on this rare oak!! It is extremely hardy for the Motherlode and would add to any tropical paradise landscape!
     Beat the heat and add increased value to your home with a shade tree. Suggestions would include Red Maples, Pistache, both have nice fall colors. Tulip Tree is an eastern United States native, fast growing maturing to 80 ft tall & 40 ft wide. Hardy to -20 degrees. It is named for the appearance of its large leaf and show flowers which resemble Tulips, and a display of yellow fall colors.

Hawthorn Tree

Hawthorn trees are moderate growers maturing to 18-25 ft tall x 15-20 ft wide. Either a red or white flower cluster is available. Hawthorns are known to live for over 400 years.

White Oak

White Oaks grow in many soil types but prefer deep moist well drained acidic soil and full sun. It requires a large area to grow as it will mature to 100 ft tall x 50-80 ft wide. An interesting feature of the White Oak is that it will hold onto its leaves during winter, waiting for the new spring growth to push out.
