My husband and I visited Solomon's Nursery for the first time a few weeks ago- an amazing experience. We were greeted kindly and patiently showed around. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and we left with quite a few beautiful sage plants! Gardner's paradise!

For the past 12 years we have employed the services of Solomon's Gardens. The planning, the products, the staff and the outcomes have exceeded our expectations in all respects. They are responsive to quality issues and replace defective plants without question. Our most recent major task was to replace a 70 x 40 lawn with a massive olive tree and drought tolerant plants; a project that turned out spectacularly.

We have had a great relationship with Solomon's Gardens for years...from a Gigantic Oak to replace a huge one that fell in a snow storm to HUGE FABULOUS paving stones as entry way thresholds at both front and back double doors....to all sorts of native, drought tolerant (even BEFORE there was a drought!!) and water pond plants, and landscaping plants and flats and flats of rosemary -- to lantana for window boxes and more and more and more! They are always so helpful and their staff is wonderful!

George came out a few days later and within an hour he had a beautiful plan drawn out that my wife and I loved. My husband and I originally hired Solomon's Gardens to landscape our front yard. They were timely, efficient and did a beautiful job. That was about 5 or 6 years ago and we're still happy with it. This past summer we wanted to put in a path on our side yard. We contacted 3 contractors, including Solomon's. Again, George of Solomon's was prompt, he was here when he said he would be, quoted a fair price, and had the work done before we even heard back from the other two contractors. We are very happy with his work again. George has a gift for invisioning what you request and coming up with the perfect plan, and he carries a wide varity of materials and plants to produce a beautiful result.

George and his team did a great job helping me with a landscape project for my vacation rental in Pine Mountain Lake. I wanted some fall colors, boulders, screening for a propane tank and some deer proof plants for my planter along the front. I went to Solomon's Gardens for the first time last month and I was amazed at how big the nursery is! My husband and I got a beautiful Japanese Maple tree in a 36 inch box and we are so happy with it. They delivered it, their guys planted it, it looks amazing and we didn't have to do any of the work! Solomon's is the only place around to find actual trees that you don't have to wait 10 years to grow. Besides trees, their selection of plants is awesome. Highly recommended!

Solomon's Gardens did the landscaping on our overgrown lot, from drawing plans, grading, French drain, sprinkler system, lighting,, boulders/rocks, pathways, plantings - trees, both removal of some and planting of others to groundcover, etc. and after completion George stopped by periodically to check on everything and "tweak" where necessary. Eighteen years later and we are still enjoying the result.

The best nursery in our area by far! Last year I bought a plant at Lowe's and it did really well so I went back to Lowe's for another one. Since I didn't have the receipt with me, I described the plant as best I could but the kid working there had no idea what it could be. I went home to find the receipt and then went back to Lowe's only to find out that they don't carry it anymore. So I went to Solomon's Gardens where they had the plant I was looking for and the girl helping me (Shari?) was very knowledgable. It was a great nursery experience and I will definitely be going to Solomon's from now on!

Sharai was wonderful! We were looking for a gift for my boyfriend's grandmother and she was very helpful. It rained during our visit & Sharai let us look around while periodically checking on us while we browsed. I appreciate her knowledge & how well she treated us. She even texted me info on a plant that was in the office that was not being sold at the nursery.

Great selection on plants that grow well in the mountain area. The Japanese Maples are very nice at this nursery. Price is on the higher side but water costs are rough these days so it's understandable.

I have been dealing with Solomon's Gardens for over 10 years. They did the original landscaping for a home we were building. They did a wonderful job of placing large rocks and plants to give a very natural and pleasing appearance to the yard. They also installed a reflecting pond that has a unique design and is very pleasing. All the plants are thriving and I can't thank George enough for making my yard a place I love to spend time. I highly recommend Solomon's Gardens for any landscaping or plant needs.

I love this place! I went to one of their workshops and it was very informative. They even provided snacks and coffee for the workshop. Seriously, who does that nowadays? They definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and taken care of. I'm growing my first garden and really want to grow tomatoes and jalapenos, Sharai was very knowledgeable and answered all of my ridiculous questions. I learned so much and my thumb gets greener every time I go there.

Solomon's is by far the nicest, biggest, healthiest nursery in the area! They have trees of all varieties, shapes, and sizes in pots or crates. They have tons of plants that are known to survive in Tuolumne County. Their staff is knowledgeable and personable. If you need a landscape architect or a baby succulent, Solomon's is the place to go.

We happened on this lovely nursery after a recommendation from a competing nursery. We were looking for some trees and they guided us to Solomon's. The associate that helped us ended up being a family friend and she was very kind and patient with us as we meandered through rows and rows of trees and talked through our indecisive ideas. She was able to help us find lovely trees for our zone and full sun area. She also guided us to some wonderful organic pitting mix to give our new trees a great start. The trees are doing well and we appreciate her care and kindness. This is the kind of store you could bring a cup of coffee and stroll through for hours. It was a fun experience.

Solomon's Gardens did an absolutely MARVELOUS job bringing 9 beautiful deck railing planters, lovingly filled with a wonderful mixture of blooming dwarf plants in them, to my parents' home for my Mother's 90th birthday! Solomon's was very gracious about delivering without direct human contact, as the fears for Covid-19 transmission were high. One (wanting to give the gift) daughter is located in Montana, one in France. Solomon's made the gift to our mother happen very easily for both of us! If you want to give someone in the Sonora area a living (plant) gift, I feel that Solomon's deserves, on a scale of 1 to 10, at least a 14!

I want to thank Solomon’s Gardens Nursery for all their help! If you need plants or trees for a memorial gift they are the ones to go to. I now live out of state and needed a memorial tree. Sharai answered my call and she was so sweet and caring when I explained the situation. She sent me pictures so I could pick the tree I wanted. They said they would deliver it today and it’s already on it’s way! I can’t say enough about this company, the owner and Sharai as she made such a nice card to go with the tree! I will always use Solomon’s! They are the best! Wish I could give them a 10!
