Vegetable Starts
Each year we grow about 4,000 vegetable, herb, and flower starts from seed in our greenhouse! We use only organic soil and fertilizers, and 99% of seeds come from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds.
The starts are available, but they need to be protected in case of a late frost. Sonora can see a freeze as late as May 10th, so it's best to wait until May 1st when you can see the 10-day forecast before planting outdoors.

2024 Home & Garden Show
At the Mother Lode Fairgrounds
We will be at the 41st annual Home & Garden Show this month at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st from 10am to 4pm! Come see us as well as many other home improvement and garden companies from around Tuolumne County. This is a free event and open to the public.
Each year we bring the 'garden' to the Home & Garden Show with a beautiful display of blooming plants and trees. Come by our booth to say hi and get a discount coupon to the nursery!
